We are comfortable in the fact that we are well looked after and totally trust her judgement and advise and know that all our Trusts/documents are up to date, managed and protected . Marise is professional, patient and has a very friendly approach. Marise makes our visits to the lawyers’ office comfortable and easy."
"Marise Allan has been our lawyer since Merton’s retirement. The seamless transition has been very reassuring and satisfying. Merton was like a family doctor who understands the whole family situation rather than just dealing with the current issue. We are very happy that Marise has been doing exactly that."
"Marise Allan has given us confidence and peace of mind with the help of their insight, advice and guidance with management of our commercial properties and our family Trust."
We have used Malloy Goodwin Harford as our lawyers for two decades, under three CEOs and three Chairmen. Both Alfred and Marise have provided us with sound advice, we have always felt valued as clients, and have been given very prompt service. We have used them for franchise advice, sale and purchase transactions, and many other incidental matters, including legislative and compliance guidance.
Paper Plus would like to congratulate Malloy Goodwin Harford on 25 years of business; and I am sure we will continue to benefit from their solid guidance and support in the years to come.
We would like to acknowledge the quality of both the services and the staff at Malloy Goodwin Harford in providing advice and services to the various members of the family of Franklin and Judith Solomon, daughters Kiri and Jenny and their spouses Nicholas Eacott and Shane Waaka respectively.
Our family has required a significant amount of support over the last 23 years around a range of legal requirements for our family business “Solomon Group”, the Solomon Family Trust, Te Ringa Awhina (our Charitable Trust), and our personal affairs, including the purchasing and selling of property and in particular the sale of our business.
The staff at Malloy Goodwin Harford have always provided an exemplary service - always contactable (even after hours), always sympathetic and easy to work with, and providing positive input and strong legal advice into achieving outcomes which are in the best interest of ourselves and the numerous services that we operate.
They continue to work tirelessly on our behalf and we recognise and value how fortunate we are to have been able to work with them. And, while our service has been directly through our links with Marise Allan and Patrick Casey, we readily recognise that they are integral parts of the overall organisation that is Malloy Goodwin Harford.
We have been clients of this law firm for over 20 years, firstly with late Merton Malloy and recently with Marise Allan. They have been extremely professional, reliable and meticulous and provide a very friendly service. We have no hesitation in recommending their services to any other client.
Merton Malloy became our lawyer in about 1984 when he was a partner in Kensington Swan. We continued to be his clients when he and his colleagues established Malloy Goodwin Harford. His partners and other staff looked after us extremely well during his absence from time to time. There was never an occasion to be unhappy with the firm. Marise Allan has been our lawyer since Merton’s retirement. The seamless transition has been very reassuring and satisfying. Merton was like a family doctor who understands the whole family situation rather than just dealing with the current issue. We are very happy that Marise has been doing exactly that. Without any hesitation we would recommend Malloy Goodwin Harford to our family and friends.

Merton Malloy became our first personal solicitor at a very hard time in one's life. Merton had been recommended to us, by a friend who was already his client. Bless him! Vinko was 30yrs old, I was 25, we needed to make Wills, Vinko had a brain tumour and was given less than 3months to live.
I am now 72 years old. Through all of those following years leading up until Merton retired I felt very important not only to him but also to the firm. Great feeling of trust!
I believe their values have never changed. It is a long time to be with one firm so I have had help from others in the firm including Alfred Harford who I would also recommend.
When Merton retired he introduced me to Marise Allan. My new solicitor was always going to have a hard role to fill. I can quite honestly say Marise Allan, has filled that role beautifully and she certainly will go beyond the call of duty if required. I would recommend Marise without any hesitation and I am pleased to have this opportunity to say thank you to her.
